Migrate to Meta for Education

This article is only applicable to admins with relevant permissions.
Only organizations that currently subscribe to Meta Horizon managed services through Meta for Work (previously Quest for Business) and are eligible for managed services through Meta for Education will be invited to switch.
The way your organization migrates to Meta for Education depends on whether your organization manages its own subscription to Meta Horizon managed services, or whether a reseller manages it.
If your organization manages its own subscription to Meta Horizon managed services
- To start the migration you can either:
- Click the link in the email inviting you to switch, or
- Click Begin switch in the Switch to Meta for Education box in Admin Center.
- Review the information about Meta for Education, then click Continue.
- Review the Meta Horizon Managed Solutions Terms of Service, click the checkbox to agree to the terms, then click Confirm switch.
There will be a confirmation message in Admin Center, which includes the date your switch will happen.
If your organization uses a reseller to manage its subscription to managed services
If a reseller manages your organization’s subscription, then you will be able to switch to Meta for Education at the end of your subscription term for Meta Horizon managed services. Contact your reseller partner for more information.
