End device sessions for your organization’s Meta Quest devices in Shared Mode

This article is only applicable to admins with relevant permissions.
You can remotely reset Shared Mode device sessions from Admin Center. You can do this on a device-by-device basis or in bulk.
When you remotely reset a session, anyone using the device will lose their unsaved progress. If a device isn’t online when you try to reset the session, the current session will end when the device next connects to Wi-Fi.
When you reset a session, people using the device will need to complete session intro steps before starting the next session. Resetting a session is different to wiping or releasing a device.
End device sessions
  1. Click Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. You can end device sessions from Managed devices or Device groups (if you’ve added Shared Mode devices to a device group). If you’re ending sessions from a device group, click the name of the device group in Device groups.
  3. Click the checkbox to the left of the device(s) whose session(s) you want to end.
  4. Click Manage devices in the top right, then select End device sessions.
  5. Click End session.
Note: You cannot end device sessions for your organization’s Meta Quest devices in Individual Mode.
