Enable or disable personal accounts on Meta Quest for Business devices

The ability to add personal accounts is not available to Meta Quest for Business devices in Shared Mode.
Admins can allow people in their organization to add personal Meta accounts to their Meta Quest for Business device. This is only available to Meta Quest for Business devices in Individual Mode.
If the ability to add personal accounts is turned off, then any devices with personal accounts will be factory reset. The person who uses the device will receive an email to let them know to set up their device again.
The below instructions cover how to enable or disable personal accounts for devices that are managed in Admin Center. If you manage devices with either Ivanti Neurons for MDM or Workspace ONE UEM, then you can download and use Meta’s OEMConfigs APK to enable or disable personal accounts
Enable or disable personal accounts for Individual Mode device profiles
  1. Click Devices Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. Click Device profiles.
  3. Click the device profile you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit next to Device Permissions.
  5. Click the toggle next to Allow people in your organization to create or add personal accounts to turn this permission on or off.
  6. Click Confirm.
Enable or disable personal accounts for independently configured devices
  1. Click Devices Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. Click Managed devices.
  3. Click the device you want to edit.
  4. Click the Details tab.
  5. Click Edit next to Device Permissions.
  6. Click the toggle next to Allow people in your organization to create or add personal accounts to turn this permission on or off.
  7. Click Confirm.
