Change the password for the Meta account that’s managed by your organization

To change the password for the Meta account that’s managed by your organization or school:
- Go to the Accounts Center for your managed account.
- Note: This is different than the Accounts Center for your personal accounts.
- Click
Password and security in the left menu.
- Click Change password.
- Type your current password in the Current password box.
- Type your new password in the New password box, then type it again in the Re-type new password box.
- Your password must be at least 8 characters long. It must also include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 special character and 1 number.

If you try to log in with an incorrect password more than 20 times, you won’t be able to try again for a period of time. Find out what to do if you can’t log into your account.
Note: If you log in using single sign-on (SSO) through an identity provider, then you won’t view the option to change your password in the Accounts Center for your managed account.
