Change the password for the Meta account that’s managed by your organization

To change the password for the Meta account that’s managed by your organization or school:
  1. Go to the Accounts Center for your managed account.
  2. Click Password and security Password and security in the left menu.
  3. Click Change password.
  4. Type your current password in the Current password box.
  5. Type your new password in the New password box, then type it again in the Re-type new password box.
    • Your password must be at least 8 characters long. It must also include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 special character and 1 number.

If you try to log in with an incorrect password more than 20 times, you won’t be able to try again for a period of time. Find out what to do if you can’t log into your account.
Note: If you log in using single sign-on (SSO) through an identity provider, then you won’t view the option to change your password in the Accounts Center for your managed account.
