About Individual Mode for organization-managed devices in Admin Center

Admins with relevant permissions in Admin Center can configure organization-managed Meta Quest devices in Individual Mode or Shared Mode.
Individual Mode is intended for devices that are used by 1 person in your organization. A device in Individual Mode is assigned 1 managed Meta account to use the device. The person using the device will need to set up a Meta Horizon profile when they first log into the device.
Shared Mode is intended for organization-managed devices that are used by multiple people. Learn more about the differences between Individual Mode and Shared Mode.
Age requirements
People have to be 18 years of age or older (depending on the age of legal majority where you reside) to use a device in Individual Mode.
Configuring devices in Individual Mode
Admins can configure devices in Individual Mode independently or by using a device preset or device group.
There are some default apps on Individual Mode devices. These are required for the device to be functional. You can also assign required and available apps, as well as files, to Individual Mode devices.
Admins can also choose to allow or disallow Meta AI, social features, personal accounts and casting. Learn more about managing device permissions.
