Assign or remove a device preset for Meta Quest for Business devices
This article is only applicable to admins with relevant permissions.
Individual Mode and Shared Mode device presets can be assigned to individual devices and device groups. Individual Mode device presets can also be assigned to static people groups.
If a device is in a device group, then you need to edit the device group to assign or remove device presets associated with that device group.
If a device is not managed by a device group, then you can edit device presets to assign or remove them for Meta Quest for Business devices. This article covers how you can also assign or remove device presets for these devices in Managed devices in Admin Center.
To assign or remove a device preset:
- Click Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
- Click Managed devices in the left menu.
- Click the name of the device.
- Click the Presets tab.
- From here you can:
- Click Assign device preset. Search for the preset you want to assign and click its name when it appears. Click Assign.
- Click to the right of the device preset to delete it, click the checkbox to confirm your understanding that the device may be wiped when you remove the preset, then click Confirm. If the device is managed by a device group that’s configured with this device preset, then you will need to delete the device preset from the group.
