Apply or remove a device profile for Meta Quest for Business devices

When you remove or switch a device’s profile, the device will be wiped and on-device data will be deleted.
Apply a device profile to a Meta Quest for Business device
When you have created an Individual Mode, Shared Mode or third-party device profile, you can apply it to Meta Quest for Business devices:
  1. Click Devices Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. Click the device you want to add to the device profile.
  3. Then:
    • If the device is currently configured independently, click to the right of Configured independently then select Apply a device profile.
    • If the device is currently managed by another device profile, click to the right of Configured by a device profile then select Swap device profile.
  4. Choose the device profile you want to apply, then click Confirm.
If the device is currently configured by a device group, you’ll first need to remove the device from the group.
Remove a device profile from a device
  1. Click Devices Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. Click the name of the device you want to remove a device profile from.
  3. Click to the right of Configured by a device profile. From here, you can:
    • Select Swap device profile, select which device profile you want to swap to, then click Confirm.
    • Select Configure independently, then click Confirm. Learn more about configuring devices independently.
If the device is currently configured by a device group, you’ll first need to remove the device from the group.
