What to do if your managed Meta account is locked
Your managed Meta account may be locked if we suspect unusual activity.
Examples of suspicious activity could relate to the IP address of a login attempt, or unusual activity after logging in. This also includes activity on work tools that you log into using your account, such as a Meta Quest device.
The way you regain access to your accounts depends on how you usually log in and whether you’re an admin for your organization’s managed Meta accounts.
Regaining access if you’re not an admin
If you log into your account with a password and your admin has verified the domain you log in with, or if you log into your account via SSO (example: your Google account), then in some cases you will receive an email with a link to unlock your account. In other cases, we will ask your admin to investigate the issue first.
If you log into your account with a password and you’re not using a verified domain, then we will send an email to your admin for them to investigate the issue. Your admin will then need to unlock your account in Admin Center.
Note: Locked accounts are different than suspended accounts. Learn what happens if your account is suspended.
