Add and manage a Virtual Private Network (VPN) for Meta Quest devices in Admin Center

This article is only applicable to admins with relevant permissions.
You can add a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to Meta Admin Center, and then apply this to Meta Quest devices in Meta Quest for Business. This means your organization’s Meta Quest devices can then privately and securely access your organization’s network.
You can also add a Wi-Fi network.
Add a VPN for Meta Quest devices in Admin Center
  1. Click Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. Click Networks in the left menu.
  3. Click Create network in the top right.
  4. Select Virtual Private Network (VPN), then click Continue.
  5. Select your VPN provider.
  6. Enter a name for this network. You can also choose to enter a description. Click Continue.
  7. Add an accessible domain name or IP address that devices from your organization can connect to and establish an encrypted connection.
  8. Choose either Password or Certificate as an authentication method.
  9. You can choose to customize the VPN by adding configuration parameters with unique identifiers (keys) and corresponding values.
  10. Click Confirm.
Edit or delete a VPN in Admin Center
  1. Click Devices in the left menu of Admin Center.
  2. Click Networks in the left menu.
  3. Click to the right of the VPN you want to edit or delete.
  4. Select either Edit network or Delete network.
    • If you select Edit network, make your changes and then click Confirm.
    • If you select Delete network, review the information and then click Delete.
Apply a VPN to Meta Quest devices
After adding a VPN to Admin Center, you’ll need to apply it to Meta Quest devices.
