System admin and Quest device admin roles in Admin Center
People have to be 18 years of age or older (depending on the age of legal majority where they reside) and use a verified or trusted domain to access Admin Center.
System admin and Quest device admin are the 2 default admin roles in Admin Center.
Differences between system admins and Quest device admins
- Each organization using Admin Center must have at least 1 system admin. System admins have all permissions available in Admin Center. System admins can create custom admin roles made up of specific permissions.
- Every organization that subscribes to Meta Quest for Business has access to the Quest device admin role. Quest device admins have all permissions relevant to managing Meta Quest for Business devices in Admin Center.
If you’re giving another organization access to your Admin Center, then you can choose to grant an External system admin role. External system admins have all available permissions apart from being able to manage external relationships hosted by you and view security logs and alerts.
