Connect your Meta Quest 3 or 3S to your organization

If you’re not connecting your device to an organization, visit our articles on setting up either your Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S.
If you're connecting your Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S to your organization, then neither use the QR code on the Meta Quest 3 or 3S box nor download the Meta Horizon mobile app.
Connect your headset to your organization
First, complete initial steps for your Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S. Then:
  1. If your device hasn’t already been enrolled by an admin, select Connect to your organization on the pairing screen.
  2. Select Continue when you see the screen to connect your headset to your organization.
  3. You’ll see a device code on screen. Go to work.meta.com/device and enter this code.
    • If your computer is in view, then you can see your computer screen in VR while you’re wearing the headset. Alternatively, you can choose to remove your headset and still enter the code on your computer or phone.
  4. Log in with the managed Meta account given to you by your organization. You’ll need to activate your account if you haven’t already done this.
  5. Return to your headset to continue. Required apps will be downloaded on your device. These apps are essential for the device to be functional.
  6. Connect to your organization’s device management.
You may need to create a passcode, depending on whether your admin has required it.
If the device you’ve set up is in Individual Mode, then you’ll need to create a Meta Horizon profile. If the device is in Shared Mode, then the device will reboot and when it has turned back on, the first screen will confirm that the device is in Shared Mode. The managed Meta account you logged in with will also be removed from the device. Learn about the difference between Individual Mode and Shared Mode.
Medium or high complexity passcodes are not supported if your Meta Quest device is managed using Ivanti Neurons for MDM or Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM.
